Known Service Outages
An outage has been detected on the Highland Park tower. The radio that supplies all service to the tower is failing. We have ordered a replacement and with next day shipping it will be in our hands on Friday about noon, once it arrives we will immediately take it to the tower and install it. Until then we will do the best we can to keep it going but it will likely keep dropping connection.
Things to try before reporting an outage
- Make sure all cables and power cords are connected.
- Verify both the router and power supply have lights on to indicate that they are powered on.
- Power cycle your router. Only unplug the power cord, not the ethernet cables.
- Do not rearrange any of the cables. Leave all of the ethernet cables as they were installed by the technician.
- NEVER RESET your router, this will not help anything and will only result in a service call to re-program the router.
- If steps 1-3 have been completed and you still do not have service please let us know.
